March 2018 was a Winnie the Pooh month in Disney Magic Kingdoms game. It was an interesting experience for me to actually fully participate in the event, and manage to finish it before the deadline. I think I have spent about USD30 for iTunes card. That won’t be the last time though. A side event is to unlock wizard outfit for Mickey Mouse to celebrate DMK’s second anniversary.
I have this habit of trying new mobile game, but the interest goes down significantly after about a week or two of playing. Based on the previous what’s on my iPhone8 Plus post, you can see that there are several games I have downloaded.
For the past weeks, I was checking on both “My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic” (MLP:FiM) and “Disney Magic Kingdom” (DMK) because it’s been a while since I last play the game. At that time, there was a Lunar New Year event on both games and I was seriously grinding on both games to get more coins, gems and magic potions so that I can progress with the story. It was hard work and I did not get to finish the event on both games.
The Nintendo Direct footage was released in October(?) 2017. I thought it was super cute (I mean, come on it’s Animal Crossing!) and was so excited for it to be released. Then I found out the news that it was not supported for iPhones which run on iOS 10 and below. It’s no secret that I’ve been complaining about it, at that time I was not ready to upgrade my phone. In the end, I did upgrade mainly to play the game. “Animal Crossing Pocket Camp” was the first thing I thought of after I upgraded my phone. It was also the first new app I downloaded.
Wow, that’s the longest title in this blog.
My mother called on Tuesday that the postman has left a coupon(?) informing me that I need to collect my package from the post office. I knew right then and there that the Animal Crossing Amiibo Card album and Isabelle card which I bought from an Australian YouTuber has arrived. I’ve been thinking about it for weeks, 😆 I asked my brother to collect it since I’m off work after 6pm.
Meivu uploaded a post on her Instagram story that she was selling her Series 1&2 albums. I knew I had to get it! Isabelle looked so adorable on the center of the cover! I’m so thankful that she did this. It’s amazing despite the price is on the expensive side. I did not mind it much since I really wanted it and amiibo cards are sold out here (I bought the very last pack from the game store! 😯 )
Altogether, I’ve owned 8 amiibo cards. I would like to buy more cards from Meivu since she has several doubles. As much as it is fun to collect all of the cards, it’s actually too expensive so I just cut down to several cards that I really, really like. I do plan on collecting every single Isabelle cards out there (or anything of Isabelle, honestly) because she’s my ultimate bias (I’m sure she’s everyone’s ultimate bias) and all of the Sanrio x ACNL collaboration cards. Animal Crossing products sell like hotcakes everywhere!
When I have the internet broadband back up at home, I may post several pictures of Isabelle’s home which I have decorated for her in ACHHD, on here and on tumblr. It’s not that impressive but my idea is not original at all. I give Isabelle as house near the beach because she deserves a break from work. Maybe I’ll change the location later 😆
Are you ready for a Mystic Chat?
You were looking for a game app just to kill some time and stumbled upon an app called “Mystic Messenger”. It sounded interesting so you downloaded it. Once you opened it up you found yourself chatting with someone nicknamed “Unknown”. “Unknown” persuaded you to go to some studio apartment. As soon as you walked in to the apartment, your app is suddenly connected to a mystic group chat with attractive guys!? After a long chat, they ask you to join their secret party planning association called R.F.A…
Pixelberry has released a new app called; “Choices: Stories You Play.” It reminds me of this app called “Episode: Choose Your Story” (I love both apps by the way) because it’s obviously a visual novel game. I downloaded this on my iPhone but then I deleted it due to storage issue and downloaded the app on my iPad instead. I’ve passed the first chapter of all three novels until I decided to fully concentrate on “The Crown & The Flame.”
“Kenna’s rivals stole her kingdom, but now the time has come for her to raise an army, destroy her enemies, and reclaim her crown.”
After playing the first chapter, I immediately fell in love. Probably because I can immediately start a romantic relationship between the main characters. Yes, I ship them already! The main characters are; Kenna Rys, a princess who escaped her kingdom when it was under attack, and Dominic Hunter, an orphan who discovered that he has fire power. They were childhood friends. I like that at the beginning of the first chapter, we have the option to make Kenna and Dom a couple. I shipped them from the moment I chose Kenna to kiss him when they were sparring together (I’m glad that it didn’t cost diamonds to choose that option). Not long after, the kingdom of Stormholt was under attack and Kenna and Gabriel (and Prince Tevan, I spent diamonds to save him and he became an ally) had to flee from her kingdom. Dom had to stay in order to help them escape. When Dom helped one of the maids, he discovered that he has the ability to summon fire.
I did not make much premium choices because my iTunes credit was low and I had to collect some from playing other stories. If I’m not mistaken, I made 2 premium choices in this and only 1 on “Most Wanted” (another favorite story of mine). One was rescuing Prince Tevan’s life (I liked him, he seemed nice) and another was Dom confessing to Trystan Blake on his relationship with Kenna (he asked and I was interested so I made that choice and I’m selfish like that hehe..)
This was a very good story from start to finish, in my opinion anyway. Maybe because the story is set in a different era but it’s not that heavily classic either. It kind of reminds me of a TV show called “Merlin,” it sets in a medieval era but the way they speak did not sound that classic and not too modern either. I guess that’s the best way I can put it.
I got a little bored because I only have one 3DS game so I decided to go to a little game store in town to check out what 3DS games were available. There wasn’t much, unfortunately. The one that stood out to me was “Lego Batman 3 Beyond Gotham.” It was more of an impulse purchase really, haha.
